Here are some answer to the common questions we get
Do your products require any gateway?
No. All products work independently. You do not require any gateway.
What happens if internet fails?
Even if there is no internet connection since all your devices are connected to wifi router you can still control them using mobile app if your Phone is also on the same wifi network. But in such scenario you can control them from outside.
Are you using Chinese IoT platform or backend?
No. We are using highly scaleable google data storage infrastructure as our backend. We are not storing any data on Chinese cloud like many other big companies in India.
Can we start automation with one product also?
Yes. All our products are plug and play. You can choose any one product for validation except Connector Switch Module as it requires on Smart Dual Switch module also.
How many users can control devices within the family?
There is no limitation on number of users. You can add users to a Room by sharing link on WhatsApp/email/msg from your mobile app to another user.
We are already having smart devices so can we control them from your mobile app?
Yes. We will be soon releasing Mobile App update so that you can control third party devices.
Can we control devices even if we are outside?
Yes. All our products work on wireless 2.4 Ghz g/b/n technology. If your home wifi router has internet connection, you can control device from anywhere in the world.
Are your products sourced from China?
No. All products are designed, developed and manufactured by Kiotel Automation Pvt Ltd.
Do you work in B-B business?
Yes.We do various plans for B-B for OEM business, small business lighting manufacturers, architects and interior designers, traders etc.
